Philatelic literature exhibition criteria
When a book participates in a philatelic exhibition to compete as an exhibit, it will be judged based on rules—usually from APS or FIP. It receives a score and an associated medal as follows:

| Silver-Bronze | 60-64 | 65-69 |
| Bronze | 55-59 | 60-64 |

The event is hosted by the Chicago Philatelic Society (CPS)—APS Chapter No.1, one of the two organizations with the longest uninterrupted service to philately in the United States.

FIP Competitive judging.
Sponsored by the United States Postal Service, Boston 2026 World Expo hosted 192 philatelic literature exhibits—98 books among them. Exhibits were judged by the stricter FIP rules (see table at the beginning of this page). The Large Hermes Heads of Greece book was one of the only four philatelic literature exhibits that received a Large Gold medal.
Result: Large Gold (95 points)
